Description

PUAFER005 – Operate as Part of an Emergency Control Organisation (Fire Warden) teaches the skills and knowledge required to implement the emergency response specified in the workplace emergency procedures or specified by a person at a higher level in the emergency control organisation. This unit has been developed to cover the broad range of emergencies and workplaces as considered in Australian Standard 3745 and 4083.

By selecting an appropriate number of wardens and conducting regular warden training, your organisation will ensure that your personnel are ready to deal with any workplace emergency.

This unit applies to employees in the workplace within all industries and in all contexts. People who undertake this work will be working within the command, control and coordinate structure of the emergency control organisation.

Our warden trainers have responded to real emergencies as emergency services officers and can walk you through the requirements of acting as a fire warden. Fire Warden Training can be conducted on site.
