Ninjutsu Club

The Ninjutsu Club is a club that encourages the practice, discussion, and appreciation of the Japanese martial art of Ninjutsu. You can learn the basics as well as advanced defense techniques of this ancient martial art.

What is Ninjutsu?

Ninjutsu (忍術) translates as the “art of perseverance.”

While a relatively modern term, it refers to the skills and methods of the Ninja that occupied the Iga and Koga regions during  feudal Japan.

We are part of the Bujinkan (武神館) founded by Masaaki Hatsumi.

The Bujinkan studies nine lineages that trace back to feudal Iga. The training is comprised of philosophy and strategy, hand-to-hand combat, and various weaponry.

Real Life Training

Activate Your Mind It is The Best Weapon You Have.

This martial art is not a static art.   It continues to grow and build on its knowledge base as the world changes and evolves.
The techniques, skills and principles that have been handed down from generation to generation are the core of the art.

Mike Hammond is someone who had dealt with violence in his daily profession. Mike’s training is much more realistic and concerned with actual real life scenarios.

Mike is currently in his 42nd year of martial arts training , and is one of the most senior Instructors and practitioners outside of Japan.

Mike has also trained with other Master Teachers from Japan and elsewhere..

Mr. Hammond has given numerous seminars around the World including New Zealand, the United States and Europe over the years, both within the Bujinkan and for other disciplines.
